We Found Sanna Marin’s Pasta Recipe and put it through Google Translate

Looking for the latest polliwaffle? Get all the tea from around the world with LK and Rossy!

Real talk: when we decided to cover Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin on the Pod this week we expected at least a little controversy. After all, she’s the world’s youngest leader, a hot bitch, and Scandanavian, there has to be some weird somewhere, right? Wrong. She’s kind of blissfully borzo. All caring about the planet and shit. She did pose for a glossy without a bra on but honestly most of the outrage that followed was from conservative men who don’t know their elbow from their asshole on the best of days so again, borzo.

What we did find was a pasta sauce recipe she adorably offered up to one of her citizens on Facebook because he asked nicely. Not only did we find it, but we converted the jpeg image of it to raw text and then run it through Google Translate because we know you probs don’t speak Swedish and by Swedish we mean Finnish. That’s how much we love you.

So from the one of the brightest political brains in this world to yours, here is Sanna Marin’s Tomato Pasta Sauce Recipe.

1 onion

3 garlic cloves (YAS, GIRL!)

caper broth

1 can of crushed tomatoes

crème fraîche

salt, black pepper and paprika

Cut the onion into small cubes and sauté until soft.

Add crushed garlic and about 1.5 tbsp caper broth (without capers).

Add black pepper and paprika.

Stir and add crushed tomatoes.

Boil and add salt.

Add 2 tbsp crème fraîche and bring to boil.

Salute Finland.
